Sult is a private venue situated in the heart of Galway City.

Sult is steeped in local heritage and nestled at the confluence of the River Corrib and Eglington Canal, at the Galway City side of the beautiful NUI Galway Campus.  The venue is ideal for groups looking for both exclusivity and affordability.

Sult has built a reputation for serving quality food. Our catering and hospitality team are eager to cater for all functions including dinners, buffets and speciality evenings.  We can facilitate groups ranging from 50 – 325 people.

With its large open plan design, Sult is ideal for all receptions.  Its vintage décor will create an immediate and memorable atmosphere which will not be forgotten. The venue has been restored to capture and showcase the building’s former glory as a munitions factory, a jute factory, a copper works, a bonded whiskey warehouse and a military barracks.

The Corrib Room at Sult is a private space which can provide an intimate dining room or party venue adjacent to the main bar.  It offers immediate access to a terrace area overlooking the River Corrib and Eglington Canal.
